We now have two locations to serve you! Downtown Greeley one block north of the UNC campus and one block west of 8th Avenue at 822 14th Street, and another in downtown Windsor at 424 Main Street.

You deserve comprehensive and accurate medical information regarding an unplanned pregnancy, abortion procedures, parenting, adoption, and STDs. We do not perform or refer for abortions; therefore, we receive no financial gain from your decision.

Our experienced staff and professional services are designed to help you find the answers you need to make the best decision for your life and circumstances! We’ve been providing these services for over three decades.

FAQ | About Our Services

No. People with differing opinions about your sexual health decisions may warn you to be careful of FAKE medical clinics. We would agree that it is always wise for you to check the credentials and history of your medical providers.  You can learn more about our Medical Credentials here.

Yes!  The Resource Center has a full-time staff of licensed medical professionals, all of whom have many years of experience. They provide truthful, science-based information using state-of-the-art ultrasounds, medical grade testing, and evidence-based medications for the treatment of positive STD tests. All of this is overseen by our medical director, Dr. David, DO, FAAFP.

Having served Weld County for over 40 years, we can confidently assure you that our medical team has all the information you need to make a wise and fully informed decision about your sexual health options.

You can learn more about our Medical Credentials here.

Our medical grade, urine pregnancy tests are designed to detect the pregnancy hormone (HCG) after you have missed a period. In general it takes 9-11 days after fertilization for HCG to be detected.

Walk-ins are always welcome!

For pregnancy tests and pre-abortion screenings, we encourage scheduling an appointment to avoid waiting and insure a preferred time.

Our STD testing is ONLY conducted on a walk-in basis now (first come, first serve).

Please allow 45 minutes to an hour for appointments depending on the appointment type.

You need to be under a doctor’s care for birth control so you can get the help you need if you experience side effects or problems. Therefore, we recommend seeing your medical provider. We do not refer or provide abortions or emergency contraception.

Our ultrasounds check for a heartbeat and verify that the fetus is developing in the uterus, confirming cardiac activity. We do not look for or determine the sex of a baby. It is very important for you to be under the care of a medical professional who monitors your baby throughout the pregnancy.

We do not provide prenatal care services. We highly recommend that you place yourself and your baby under the care of one of the many skilled doctors and midwives in our community, many of whom are on our Medical Advisory Board. We will gladly refer you to these professionals for your prenatal care.

HIPAA, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, primarily deals with the relationship between your clinic and your health insurer. Since The Resource Center offers all services free of charge, we have no need to communicate with any insurers, making HIPAA inapplicable. That said, our practice is to maintain the confidentiality of your medical information, except in very limited circumstances, such as when we are required by law to report evidence of abuse. We understand that unexpected pregnancy and STIs are sensitive subjects and that your privacy is important to you. Please contact us if you have any further questions about client confidentiality.

This website is for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for receiving professional medical care. We do not provide OB/GYN or pre-natal care, birth control, fertility testing, abortions, or referrals for abortions. Our medical services follow all applicable laws and relevant medical standards under the supervision and direction of a licensed physician.

We listen. You decide.
