Are you prepared?
For finals? For a pregnancy? For an STD?
Finals are just around the corner. Sorry to bring that up again. Right now many students are in the midst of late nights, gallons of coffee, and last minute memorization. You could have prepared for your finals before the last minute, and you promise yourself you will next time, but that never happens.
What would happen if you were prepared? You would crush that test!
Just like you can prepare for a test, you can be prepared with your personal and sexual health.
Plan to come see us. We can help you be prepared before anything comes up unexpected.
How can we help?
Here at The Resource Center, we provide free pregnancy tests and guidance to our clients.
We also offer testing for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea, the two most common STDs, at no cost. We provide free treatments for these two STDs as well. The Resource Center’s registered nurses and advisors prepare our clients with the facts about different sexual habits and what the consequences are.
One of these habits is having casual sex. College students want to experiment and have fun with their new-found freedom. College is thought to be the time and place for casual sex. What they aren’t prepared for are the consequences. Many Freshmen and even upperclassmen don’t think about how casual sex can lead to an unexpected pregnancy or an STD infection. An unexpected pregnancy may lead to an abortion. All of these consequences are long-lasting and follow a person around for the rest of their lives if they do not receive guidance, support, and treatment. All of these are offered to every client that walks through our doors.
At The Resource Center, we can help you plan for the unexpected. Our registered nurses and advisors can walk you through the different consequences of casual sex and how you can avoid a pregnancy or STD.
Don’t put off this preparation and tests any longer. Come in and get your free STD and/or pregnancy test today. Learn what you can do to protect yourself. Be prepared with knowledge about your sexual health before the start of the next school year.
Good luck with your tests for school. Have a wonderful break!
