A few years ago there was a T.V. show called Scrubs. In one episode Elliot and Turk were discussing the consequences of sex. Turk thought that the worse consequence of sex was pregnancy. Elliot believed the worse consequence of sex was losing a baseball scholarship because a bear ate your arm. Elliot spiced up her love life by heading to the woods with honey and her honey, resulting in a bear encounter and loss of an arm.

While losing an arm to a bear during sex might be a bad consequence, according to the Center for Disease Control (CDC) there are two sexually transmitted infections or STI’s that you should probably be tested for if you are sexually active, Chlamydia and Gonorrhea.

Chlamydia and Gonorrhea are two of numerous STI’s that we have in Greeley, CO. At the Resource Center, we test for both of these. Guys, whether you are straight, gay, bisexual or transgendered we all need to be tested for STD/STI’s, especially if we are showing any symptoms. Chlamydia and Gonorrhea have similar symptoms include discharge, burning sensation, and/or pain or swelling in one or both testicles. Bear attack symptoms can include the loss of an arm, leg, or life.
