Questions about labor and delivery? We got answers.

You’ve taken a pregnancy test, been going to a medical provider for prenatal care, gotten to see your baby on an ultrasound, and now are getting ready to meet your baby.  What else can you do to prepare for the day baby arrives?  But how do you even know how to tell when labor begins?  When should you go to the hospital?  What even happens during labor?

If you are curious about the answers to these questions or have other questions related to what happens during labor and delivery, we would love to have you join us for our FREE Labor & Delivery Class.  The class is taught by a registered nurse who has experience working in labor and delivery, postpartum care, and care of the newborn.  The class aims to help provide you with information about the labor and delivery process.

Topics taught include:

  • Signs of labor
  • Stages of labor
  • Vaginal & caesarean birth
  • Pain relief options during labor
  • Care of the mom & baby right after delivery

Classes are 1-hour long for three weeks and are offered in January, April, July, and October.  We do ask that you register for the class because space is limited.  If you would like more information about the class or would like to register for the class, please call The Resource Center at (970) 353-2673 or register online right here.

In addition to the Labor & Delivery Class, we offer other parenting classes and services.  All of them are free to the community.  We have pregnancy tests, STD testing & treatment, limited ultrasounds, and information about your options of parenting, adoption, and abortion.

If you are in need of any of these services, please give us a call or make an appointment online.
