How will I know when I’m in labor? What should I do to prepare? How can I be a good support person for the one I care about?
Are these questions – and others! – swirling through your mind as you think about labor and delivery? Register today for free labor and delivery classes through The Resource Center and rest assured your questions will be answered.
Starting last fall, a labor and delivery class was developed as an educational opportunity for clients at The Resource Center and is now open to the public. The class is offered quarterly and is a 3-week class that meets one time a week for an hour. The labor and delivery class, like all services offered at The Resource Center, is complimentary. The class focuses on signs of labor, stages of labor, pain relief options during labor, vaginal and caesarean birth, and care of the infant and mother immediately after birth. Participation and questions from the attendees are encouraged. The goal for this class is to help empower women and men through knowledge during a potentially stressful time in their lives.
The Resource Center offers help, resources and support for men and women of Weld County through free services such as pregnancy tests, STD testing, abortion information, ultrasounds and much more. We have centers in Greeley and in Windsor. Phone 970-353-2673 to make your appointment today and see how we can best come alongside you!
